Edit an authenticator

Important

Available actions:

  • Edit (register again) the authenticator.
  • Change only the comment to the authenticator (if this action is allowed by the system administrator).

To edit an authenticator, perform the following actions:

  1. In the Authenticator management window, select the authenticator and click Edit.

  1. Perform one of the following actions:

    • To edit only the comment to the authenticator, enter the comment in the corresponding field and click Save.
  • To proceed to editing the authenticator itself, click Set again. The window then displays the instructions for registering the authenticator. The window appearance and the prompt text depend on the selected authenticator type. Perform the required actions.
  1. After the authenticator is registered successfully, click Save.
