Verify an authenticator

To verify an authenticator, perform the following actions:

  1. In the Authenticator management window, select the authenticator and click Verify.

  1. The Authenticator management window then displays the instructions for registering the authenticator. The window appearance and the prompt text depend on the selected authenticator type. Perform the required actions.

  2. After the verification is complete, the Authenticator management window displays a message with the result.

    • If the authenticators match:
  • If the authenticators do not match:
  1. If the authenticators do not match, click Back and repeat the verification procedure or register the authenticator again.
