Authenticator management utility

Important

The authenticator management utility works only in scenarios with the Enterprise SSO and Windows Logon modules.

The utility is installed automatically when these modules are installed.

You can manage authenticators with the Axidian Access Authenticator management application. This application allows you to add new authenticators and edit, verify, and delete the existing ones.

Note

The authenticator management capabilities are available if the corresponding permission is granted by the system administrator.

To proceed to authenticator management, perform the following actions:

1. Open the Axidian Access Authenticator management application (Start→Axidian Access→Axidian Access Authenticator management).

2. In the Authentication window, select your account and the login method (the authenticator type). By default, the last used login method is selected automatically.

   Information

   To log in to the Authenticator management application, use a previously registered authenticator. If you use the password to access the application, the functions of modifying, deleting, and adding authenticators are not available.

3. Perform the required actions (depending on the selected login method).

   Note

   The capabilities of adding, editing, and deleting authenticators are available after authorization with an authenticator. The capability of verifying authenticators is available both after authorization with an authenticator and after authorization with the password.

4. After successful authentication, the Authenticator management window is displayed.
