Documents
In Your documents, you can manage documents for obtaining a signature certificate. You can add, sign, download, edit, and delete documents.
Administrator settings
To allow users to manage documents in Self-Service:
- Open the Configuration Wizard.
- Go to Common features.
- Enable the Internal Document Management option.
To allow users to delete documents:
- Open the Management Console and go to policy settings.
- Go to Workflow → User Permissions → Documents.
- Enable the Delete option.
Document types
- Personal – ID copies
- Certificate request – a signed copy of an application for obtaining a signature certificate
- Certificate – a signed copy of the certificate form
- Certificate revocation request – a signed copy of an application for terminating a signature certificate
- User documents – other types of documents
Requirements for signing documents
- You have a card with a signature certificate.
- The signature certificate has any status except Revoked, Expired, Key Expired, and Error.
- The Enhanced Key Usage field contains the Secure Email (Secure Email, OID 1.3.6.1.5.5.7.3.4) and Code Signing (codeSigning, OID 1.3.6.1.5.5.7.3.3) values according to digital signature requirements (RFC 5280).
Add documents
Paper-signed document
To add a paper-signed document:
- Click Add document in Your documents.
- Select the document type and upload the file.
- (Optional) Fill in the Description field.
- Click Add.
Document with a digital signature
When you add a document, you can sign it with a digital signature.
To add and sign a document:
- Click Add document in Your documents.
- Select the document type and upload the file.
- (Optional) Fill in the Description field.
- Enable the Sign document option.
- Connect the card that contains the signature certificate to the workstation and select it in the Card list.
- In the Certificate list, select the appropriate signature certificate.
- Enter the user PIN.
- Click Add.
Sign documents from templates
You can sign documents that are already available in Axidian CertiFlow. Documents are generated from templates configured by the administrator in Configuration → Print Templates.
Signed documents automatically appear in the Your documents list.
To sign a document:
- In Your cards, select the card that contains the required certificate and open the Contents tab.
- Click
next to the required certificate and select a document template: certificate, certificate request, or certificate revocation request. The document preview opens.
- Click Sign document. To download and print the document without a signature, click Save document.
- Connect the card that contains the signature certificate to the workstation and select it in the Card list.
- In the Certificate list, select the appropriate signature certificate.
- Enter the user PIN.
- Click Sign.
