Integration modules

Software requirements

To install each module, you need a deployed Axidian Access system with registered licenses for the corresponding module.

How licensing works in Axidian Access

Axidian ADFS Extension

  • Windows Server 2012 R2 and higher;
  • The Active Directory Federation Services role installed;

Axidian NPS RADIUS Extension

  • Windows Server 2012 R2 and higher;
  • The Network Policy Server role installed;

Axidian IIS Extension

  • Windows Server 2012 R2 and higher;
  • An installed Internet Information Services server;

Axidian RDP Windows Logon

  • Windows Server 2012 R2 and higher;
  • Windows 7 32/64bit;
  • Windows 8.1 32/64bit;
  • Windows 10 32/64bit;

Environment requirementsA configured DNS server (Reverse lookup zones must be added). The DNS server parameters must be specified in the network connection settings on each workstation.
Required administrative rightsTo install Axidian Windows Logon, local Administrator rights are required.
Firewall settingsFor the correct operation of the Axidian Access system, change the following firewall settings on the Axidian Access Server and on the workstations where the Axidian Windows Logon component is installed:
  • Open port 53 (DNS) (TCP and UDP) for all processes in both directions. This port is used by the Axidian Access system to determine network availability.
  • Open port 135 (RPC) for all processes in both directions. This port is used by the system for communication between user workstations and Core Server.
  • Open port 389 (LDAP) for all processes in both directions. This port is used by the system to gain access to Active Directory (including when searching for Core Server).

Axidian Enterprise Single Sign-On

Firewall settingsSet the following firewall settings on the Axidian ESSO server and on the workstations with the installed Axidian Access ESSO Agent:
