Privilege Agent

The Privilege Agent component is used for text logging of RDP sessions. The session log contains records of active window changes, application and process launches, as well as keyboard input data.

Prerequisites​

For the component to work, enable the Save session text logs option in the policy applied to the resource.

The session is aborted automatically if Privilege Agent is not installed on the resource, but a policy that requires saving logs is applied to the resource.

Installation​

To install Privilege Agent and the service:

  1. Go to the [AxidianPAM distribution]\axidian-pam-tools\agent folder.

  2. Copy the installation packages for Axidian.Privilege.Agent and Axidian.Privilege.AgentService to the resource.

    The service reduces high CPU load when several RDP sessions are open on the resource at the same time. During a session, the service starts automatically.

  3. Install the agent and the service on the resource.

  4. Reboot the resource.
