This section contains an overview of updates and improvements in Axidian Access 8.2.

8.2.8​

  • Improved the operation of Management Console 8.x on Axidian Access 9.x database.
  • For Secured TOTP provider, added support for caching.
  • Fixed a defect that prevented successful installation of Windows Logon without internet connection.
  • Fixed an error during registration and password change for Active Directory in User Console.

  • Updated distribution package contents (Telegram provider).
  • Fixed errors in signatures of some MSI packages.

  • Added the option to send OTP using a script through Messages Proxy web application.
  • For Windows Password provider, added the functionality that allows configuring the method of credentials verification on domain controller.
  • In Radius Extension, added the ability to write provider chain in one string – One-string authenticator.
  • Added new authentication method for Radius – Passcode + SMS.
  • In Windows Logon and RDP Windows Logon, added support for Secured TOTP.
  • Added a setting that allows changing the deeplink for Axidian Key and Secured TOTP registration and Axidian Key application download.
  • Changed the process of Axidian Key authenticator registration via link from email.
  • Added the ability to copy a six-digit code to the clipboard from the Axidian Key mobile application.
  • Modified the format of the license validity start and end time.
  • Improved the MSI package installation process in an isolated environment.
  • Expanded capabilities for application interaction via OpenID Connect protocol.

8.2.4​

  • Added a utility that can be used to generate keys for user token encryption during manual configuration of Core Server.
  • Added the functionality that can be used to search for and delete objects from the policy scope.
  • Added support for the Windows security policy Interactive logon: Smart card removal behavior in multi-factor authentication where smart cards are used as the second factor.
  • Improved the operation of NPS Radius Extension with logging enabled.
  • Fixed an error related to repeated authentications through NPS Radius Extension.

8.2.3​

  • Fixed the authentication error that occurred because user search in the catalog took a long time.
  • Fixed several errors related to duplicate requests in NPS Radius Extension.
  • Fixed the authentication error in NPS Radius Extension, which made it impossible to log in through Remote Desktop Gateway (RDG) using two-factor authentication.
  • Fixed an error in NPS Radius Extension where the timeout for the second authentication factor request was always different.
