Client certificate
The client certificate verifies requests from integration modules to Core Server.
Certificate installation is required only for direct requests from modules to the server. If you use a load balancer, a certificate is optional. However, it is required when requests are not sent through the load balancer.
Certificate SourceCode_EA.Server_Certificates_ClientCertificate_eaclient is located at Axidian AM version_number\Axidian Access Server\version_number\Misc.
Install the certificate from the Axidian Access installation package on the computer with the deployed Core Server.
- Double-click the certificate file.
- In the Certificate window, click Install Certificate.
- In the Certificate Import Wizard window, select Local Computer and click Next.
- Allow making changes.
- In the Certificate Import Wizard window, select Place all certificates in the following store and click Browse.
- In the Select Certificate Store window, select Trusted Root Certification Authorities and click OK.
- In the Certificate Import Wizard window, click Next → Done.
To verify that you have allowed the Axidian Access server to accept the client certificate, follow these steps:
- Open IIS Manager.
- Navigate to Axidian Access → Sites → Default Web Site → am → core.
- Click SSL Settings.
- Select Accept client certificates.
