Events

All Access Manager event records are stored in the event log on each Access Manager server. Access Manager keeps records of the following types:

  • Error
  • Information
  • Warning

To open the event log, from the left menu in the Audit section, select Events.

For more targeted event search, use the following filter parameters:

  • User or initiator: Select the account where the event is performed.

  • Application: Filter events by the selected Access Manager component.

  • Start/End date: Specify the time interval within which events are selected.

  • Authenticator type: Filter events by the selected authentication method.

  • Module: Filter events by the selected Access Manager system module.

    Note

    When searching for events, events for a specific system module are displayed. As for the Application parameter, events are displayed for a specific system application with numerous modules available.

  • Description contains: Specify the full value of the event attribute, such as application, administrator, or computer.

    Information

    Partial search using the asterisk symbol (*) is not possible because of the limitations of Microsoft EventLog. If you use other supported storage methods, the search capabilities are limited by the capabilities of EventLog itself.

  • Event type: Specify the event type, such as error, information, and warning. If you select the Not specified option, the search result shows events of all types.

  • Event code: Select a specific Access Manager system event.

To export events, click Export at the top of the page. The supported export formats include CSV, XLSX, and PDF.
